Current restorations of manuscripts, archive documents and old printed books have been done:

1.    Paper manuscripts  - 30
2.    Old printed books  - 24
3.    Manuscripts on parchment  - 8 (300 folios)
4.    Archive documents  -  20 folios
5.    Talismans - 20 meters

Current microbiological examinations have been done in the book depositary. About 1,000 manuscripts were disinfected and cured. About 450 folios of 8 manuscripts were cured folio by folio.
 
Acidity of 600 folios of 7 manuscripts was neutralized.

In the account year some important works were performed to restore silver bindings of manuscripts. Professor Robert Stelle from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Stuttgart has restored in Yerevan ten Armenian silver bindings of manuscripts.

Examinations have been continued on the aging of paper. Two scientific articles have been published (one is a Thesis for the Strasbourg International Conference).

300 books from the Reading halls and Library have been rebound.
